Zoltán Kodály International Music Competition Debrecen
Our joint competition with the Kodály Philharmonic in Debrecen is a real success story, as 200 young musicians entered the first competition, and the second one received more than 308 applications from 58 countries around the world.In 2022, string players and in 2023, conductors could compete in three rounds in front of a jury of world-renowned masters, an enthusiastic local audience and music fans watching the online broadcasts. The joint competition series will continue in 2025 with a brass competition.
